性质描述:

无色中性易燃液体。熔点-99℃，沸点118℃，相对密度0.871（20/4℃），折光率1.3907（19℃），闪点18℃。溶于醇、醚、醛等有机溶剂，溶于180份水。有水果香味。

生产方法:

由异丁醇与乙酐在硫酸存在下酯化而得。将乙酐和异丁醇混合后滴加硫酸，稍冷后加热回流5-6h，回流液用水洗2-3次，用碳酸钠中和，用水洗至中性，用氯化钙干燥，在油浴上减压分馏即得成品。

用途:

硝化纤维及漆类的溶剂。该品具有生梨和复盆子的香气，常作果实香精，用于调配香蕉、菠萝、复盆子和梨味香精。也用作玫瑰的调配剂。
