性质描述:

白色结晶或淡黄色油状液体。熔点33.4℃，相对密度1.147（20/4℃）。蒸气压（30℃）为0.133×10-3Pa。20℃时的溶解度，在甲苯中大于60%，在二甲苯中大于60%，在二氯乙烷中大于60%，在水中为0.19%。

生产方法:

以苯酚为原料，一步加压法合成中间体邻乙硫基甲基苯酚，然后与异氰酸甲酯加成而制得乙硫甲威。

用途:

乙硫甲威是一种高效低毒低残留的内吸性氨基甲酸酯类杀虫剂，对蚜虫、甲壳虫、菜蛾、蟑螂、蚊蝇等均具有良好的防治效果，用于防治果树、蔬菜、马铃薯、甜菜、烟草等作物上的各中蚜虫，对有机磷产生抗性的蚜虫更为有效，具残效期长。
