性质描述:

无色易挥发液体。熔点为-75℃，沸点80.5℃，相对密度0.9535，闪点-3℃折射率1.4021，蒸气压9.09kPa（20℃），汽化热0.39kJ/g，比热容2.0J/（g·℃）。有辛辣气味，是一种催泪剂。微溶于水，在水中的溶解度为6g/100ml（20℃），溶于乙醇、乙醚、丙酮及苯。易聚合。通常加入对苯二酚作阻聚剂。

生产方法:

丙烯甲酯生产方法有：丙烯腈水解法、丙烯直接氧化法和乙烯酮法。1.丙烯腈水解法以丙烯腈为原料，在浓硫酸存在的情况下进行水解，水解后的丙烯酰胺硫酸盐再与甲醇进行反应得到丙烯酸甲酯。用丙烯腈水化法生产的丙烯酸甲酯，每吨产品消耗丙烯腈（98%）860kg、甲醇（95%）960kg、硫酸（93%）2000kg。2.丙烯直接氧化法以丙烯为原料，第一步氧化丙烯醛，再氧化成丙烯酸。丙烯酸再与甲醇反应生成丙烯酸甲酯。用丙烯直接氧化法生产丙烯酸甲酯，每吨产品消耗丙烯（95%）544kg。3.乙烯酮法乙烯酮与甲醛以三氟化硼为催化剂进行缩合，再用甲醇急冷，同时酯化生成丙烯酸甲酯。

用途:

丙烯酸甲酯是有机合成中间体及合成高分子的单体，由丙烯酸甲酯合成共聚橡胶具有良好的耐高温及耐油性能。与丙烯腈共聚可改变聚丙烯腈纤维的可纺性、耐塑料及染色性。与甲基丙烯酸甲酯、乙酸乙烯或苯乙烯共聚是性能良好的涂料和地板上光剂。此外，在医药制造、皮革加工、造纸、粘合剂制造、油漆等工业中也有其日益广泛的用途。
