4-Diethylaminobenzaldehyde is a reversiblealdehyde dehydrogenases (ALDHs)inhibitor, with aK_iof 4 nM forALDH1. 4-Diethylaminobenzaldehyde displays potent anti-androgenic effect (IC₅₀= 1.71μM)^[1]^[2].

体外研究
(In Vitro)

4-Diethylaminobenzaldehyde (DEAB) is reversible competitive inhibitor of ALDH1 (competitive with the aldehyde substrate) with a K_ivalue of 4 nM, and irreversibly inactivates ALDH7A1 via formation of a stable, covalent acyl-enzyme species^[1].
The Temozolomide (TMZ)-resistant cell line LN18 is treated with a combination of TMZ and 4-Diethylaminobenzaldehyde for 10 days. As indicated by colony formation assay, the clonogenic capacity of LN18 cells exposed to TMZ in combination with 4-Diethylaminobenzaldehyde (DEAB) is significantly attenuated^[3].

此方案可获得 ≥ 3.25 mg/mL (18.34 mM，饱和度未知) 的澄清溶液。
以 1 mL 工作液为例，取 100 μL 32.5 mg/mL 的澄清 DMSO 储备液加到 900 μL20% 的 SBE-β-CD 生理盐水水溶液中，混合均匀。
将 2 g 磺丁基醚 β-环糊精加入 5 mL 生理盐水中，再用生理盐水定容至 10 mL，完全溶解，澄清透明
