生物活性	(±)-Pantothenic acid ((±)-Pantothenate), a B-vitamin, is an essential vitamin required for the biosynthesis of coenzyme A (CoA) in mammalian cells. Pantothenic acid has protective activity against valproic acid (VPA)-induced neural tube defects (NTD) in CD-1 mice^[1].
体内研究 (In Vivo)	(±)-Pantothenic acid (3 × 200 mg/kg; IP, single dosage) blocks VPA-induced decreases in c-Myb and Pim-1 protein expression; reduces the incidence of NTD to 6.8% in VPA-injected CD-1 mice, while incidence of the untreated group is 23.6%^[1].
