NHC-triphosphate is a major intracellular metabolite of β-d-N4-Hydroxycytidine (NHC) in a triphosphate form. NHC-triphosphate is a weak alternative substrate for the viral polymerase and occasionally gets incorporated into HCV replicon RNA.
