ZLD1039 (ZLD-1039) is a novel, orally bioavailable and potent inhibitor of EZH2 (zeste homolog 2) with an IC₅₀ of 5.6 nM. It acts by decreasing the H3K27 methylation leading to up-regulation of silenced tumor suppressor genes in breast cancer. This compound can suppress the tumor growth but also inhibit metastasis in a mouse breast cancer xenograft model.
