Background:

Ac-AAVALLPAVLLALLAP-IETD-CHO is a composite of Ac-IETD-CHO , a peptide inhibitor of caspase-8, and a cell-permeable hydrophobic sequence derived from K-FGF. It is an inhibitor of both caspase-8 and granzyme B. It prevents death of SKOV3 ovarian carcinoma cells transfected with Survivin and granzyme B-induced apoptosis (SAGA) when used at a concentration of 20 µM.
