Background:
AF568 is a structural and functional analogue of Alexa Fluor™ 568 dye, which belongs to the popular Alexa Fluor™ family of fluorescent markers. The excitation maximum of AF568 lies at 572 nm and its emission maximum is at 598 nm. Like Alexa Fluor™ 568, AF568 has excellent photochemical stability and brightness.
AF568 alkyne derivate is an effective tool for labeling purposes. It is easily detected in the Texas Red channel with a high signal-to-noise ratio in different biological samples.
