Background:

Cicloprofen is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID).^1,2It inhibits histamine release induced by ragweed, A23187 , or concanavalin A in isolated human leukocytes when used at a concentration of 0.5 mM.¹Cicloprofen inhibits carrageenan-induced paw edema in rats (ED₅₀= 67 mg/kg).²
