Background:

L-ANAP methyl ester is an esterified form of the fluorescent unnatural amino acid L-ANAP .¹It has been used in the synthesis of L-ANAP. L-ANAP methyl ester has also been used to fluorescently label proteinsin vitrothrough genetic encoding.²
