Silperisone, formerly known as RGH-5002; SILA-336, a sodium channel protein type 2 alpha channel blocker potentially for the treatment of spasticity. Silperisone is a tolperisone like organosilicon compound with centrally acting muscle relaxant properties. Silperisone might be a useful antispastic drug.
