Sinoporphyrin sodium, formerly known as DVDMS, is a photosensitizer that shows potential in both sonodynamic therapy and photodynamic therapy. Sinoporphyrin sodium significantly suppressed cell proliferation, promoted early apoptotic response, triggered collapse of F-actin filaments and inhibited cell migration. Sinoporphyrin sodium potentially a treatment for cancer. References: Shi R, Li C, Jiang Z, Li W, Wang A, Wei J.
