Okadaic Acid is a toxin produced by several species of dinoflagellates, and is known to accumulate in both marine sponges and shellfish. Okadaic Acid and its relatives are protein phosphatase inhibitors, specifically targeting protein phosphatase 1 (PP1) and protein phosphatase 2A (PP2A).
