Coumestrol is an ERβ agonist inhibitor of aromatase and 3α-HSD found in plants such as soy and clover. It decreases immobility in animals undergoing for the forced swim test, suppresses pro-inflammatory cytokine release and limits T-cell differentiation and activation.
