2-Methoxyhydroquinone is a phenolic compound. It reduces TNF-α-induced production of chemokine (C-C motif) ligand 2 (CCL2)in vitrowith an IC50value of 64.3 µM.12-Methoxyhydroquinone has been used as a precursor in the synthesis of the Hsp90 inhibitor geldanamycin .2
