Alytesin is a neuropeptide originally isolated from frog (A. obstetricans) skin that has diverse biological activities.1,2,3It induces hypertension with tachyphylaxis and increases blood glucose levels in dogs.1Alytesin reduces gastric acid secretion in rats.2It also induces anorexigenic effects in neonatal chicks.3
