资料参考
Caspase-10b is also known as FLICE2, which belongs to the caspase-family of cysteine proteases. Caspase-10 also exists in cells as an inactive proenzyme like other caspases. Sequential activation of caspases plays a key role in the execution-phase of cell apoptosis. Caspases undergo proteolytic processing as inactive proenzymes at conserved aspartic residues to produce two subunits, large (18 kDa) one and small (11 kDa) one. The two subunits dimerize to form the active enzyme. This protein cleaves and activates caspases 3 and 7, and the protein itself is processed by caspase 8. The recombinant active human caspase-10/b was expressed in E. coli.生物活性
