5(6)-Carboxyfluorescein (5(6)-FAM) is an amine-reactive pH-sensitive green fluorescent probe. 5(6)-Carboxyfluorescein (5(6)-FAM) can be used to label proteins,peptidesand nucleotides. 5(6)-Carboxyfluorescein can be used for the detection of tumour areas in vivo^[1][2].

5(6)-Carboxyfluorescein has two main characteristics: it has two wavelengths of maximum absorbance (465 and 490 nm) and its fluorescence emission (maximum, 515 nm) increases as a function of pH in the physiological pH range of 6-7.4^[2].

5(6)-Carboxyfluorescein (5 mg/kg; i.p.) can be used for in vivo pH mapping of tumor tissue^[2].

  以 1 mL 工作液为例，取 100 μL 20.8 mg/mL 的澄清 DMSO 储备液加到 900 μL20% 的 SBE-β-CD 生理盐水水溶液中，混合均匀。

  将 2 g 磺丁基醚 β-环糊精加入 5 mL 生理盐水中，再用生理盐水定容至 10 mL，完全溶解，澄清透明

  Description: 5(6)-Carboxyfluorescein can be used to label proteins, peptides and nucleotides, and it can be used in monocyte adhesion assay.
  Method: For monocyte adhesion assay.
  1. Incubate cells with 5(6)-Carboxyfluorescein and then incubate with another testing cells for 15 minutes at 37℃.
  2. Unbound cells in the dishes are removed by washing 3 times with serum-free medium.
  3. Adherent cells are visualized under an inverted fluorescence microscope and are counted in 5 randomly selected fields in each well.
